risk-based capital analysis

In 2009 and 2010, we were contracted by the American Fraternal Alliance (AFA) to develop the RBC calculation tool for use by fraternal societies to complete their annual RBC calculations. This service is no longer required by the AFA due to the inclusion of fraternal RBC calculations into financial reporting software packages. However, developing this tool to correctly calculate RBC, given the detailed instructions and components, has given us great insight and expertise regarding RBC.
We have intimate knowledge into what the key drivers are and what the regulators are focused on, which allows us to provide recommendations regarding actions that can be taken to improve your RBC ratios. Given that we do these calculations for a number of our clients, this also gives us access to meaningful comparative information for us to use as benchmarks to determine your RBC strengths and weaknesses.
