Susan Abbott is Software Project Manager for Allen Bailey & Associates, Inc. and is a Fellow of the Life Management Institute. She has been with the company since 1986. Prior to working for Allen Bailey & Associates, Ms. Abbott worked at Computer Sciences Corporation (CSC, formerly The Continuum Company).
Ms. Abbott's primary experience has been as project leader of the software division of the company. In this area, Ms. Abbott works with clients to define their software needs and acts as liaison with the programming staff and actuaries. She is responsible for overseeing all software development which includes Agent Illustration software for Life and Annuity products and UL-CRVM valuation software.
Susan also has experience with The Complete Package (TCP) Software and statutory financial statement preparation. This includes annual and quarterly statement preparation, together with NAIC correspondence and submission. She is knowledgeable of NAIC requirements and procedures and provides financial statement preparation support to the actuaries in these areas.
Susan Abbott received her Masters of Fine Arts Degree in 1981 from the University of South Dakota.
